New Tune: Undeserved

So yesterday I released another new tune to the congregation. We were studying Romans 3:23-25 and how we are in need of a savior. I took the opportunity to wrap up a song I had been working on here and there and I think the final product was fairly decent. It’s a slow to mid tempo drive in 6/8 time. Kinda fun.

I wasted a few minutes on Wordle this morning with the words.

I tried unsuccessfully all last night to embed an audio player into a posting but each time fell flat on its face.

On my website: www.harmonicdistortion.org there is an audio player and I will continue to add my acoustic tracks along the way. I have just 1 up there right now and have about 5 more that need to go.

I got back on the wagon again….the song writing wagon. Man was it hard to get back into that grove again. I really need to keep it up from here on until I have a solid set for the disc.

So we are wrapping up Habakkuk at theAlley this coming weekend by studying chapter 3. Chapter 3 is really cool because it is Habakkuk’s song/prayer to the Lord giving thanks for mercy and to not dwell on our own doings.

The chorus:

It’s a more upbeat song and almost verges on too bubble gum sounding at times but I’m just gonna let it roll.
