New Tune: Undeserved
So yesterday I released another new tune to the congregation. We were studying Romans 3:23-25 and how we are in need of a savior. I took the opportunity to wrap up a song I had been working on here and there and I think the final product was fairly decent. It’s a slow to mid tempo drive in 6/8 time. Kinda fun.
I wasted a few minutes on Wordle this morning with the words.

A Wordle of Undeserved
Lyrics:
VERSE ONE
The things that we’ve done, have got out of hand
And keeping us from, the life that you’ve planned
Oh this mess that we’re in, it was conjured of sin from the start
To be ransomed from death is to know who you are in our heart
CHORUS
We are in need of a savior
One who will make it okay
Through undeserved kindness, declare us as righteous
And rescue your people again
VERSE TWO
Why are we still running, this tired race
Let’s get back in step, let God set the pace
Cast aside what we’ve done; for it lessens the One who has shown
A love more enduring, more faithful that we’ve ever known
